2007 Renaissance Festival - Wonders of the World

September 15, 2007

Small town Holly has alot to offer when it comes to the Renanissance Festival which is in full effect during the month of August and September. I had a chance to visit this little town of Holly, Michigan and a fanastic time it was. The population is less than 10,000 residents, however I do believe they have at least 20,000 guests visiting each weekend. The Renaissance Festival offers different themes each weekend. Check out http://www.michrenfest.com/ for more information!

My new Motorcycle

september 1, 2007

Too sweet! My new 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa 1300. My passion for photography is the same for the rush on my new motorcycle. Riding is a high for me on the road, but not crazy! I love to ride long distance and challenging roads suchs as the curves on Austin Rd in Saline or Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor. My ultimate goal is to ride Iron of the Dragon (Deals Gap) in North Carolina/Tennesse located in the Smoky Mountains. Check out the 318 curves in a 11 mile stretch (http://www.ironofthedragon.com/). Wow!

Check out all new 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa!

If you’re passing through Oklahoma and you think you can just speed through the state without any chance of getting run down from behind, think again. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has a little surprise for you, a Suzuki Hayabusa Police Interceptor, all nice and shiny and black and radar equipped. The OHP is set to get special training at the California Superbike School. Better slow ‘er down boys.

Safari Wildlife

What an incredible park they have in Ohio! I visited the African Safari Wildlife Park and they have an unique concept. They have a drive-thru where you can feed the animals and get close and personal. Carrots was the favorite for the day, and by the way the Giraffe actually came thru my sunroof to be fed. The 100-acre is a must see, you will see some of the most beautiful and exotic animals, roaming free in their natural habitat. Some of the animals includes deers of all sizes, zebras, lambas, and much more. Also, when you finish driving through the Safari Wildlife you can enjoy the Safari Junction the walk-thru area. They have the Pig Races and the Educational Animal Programs. The Safari is located 15 minutes from Cedar Point, in Port Clinton, Ohio.

50 Million Pound Challenge - Detroit, MI

I had the opportunity to attend the grand event at Hart Plaza (Downtown Detroit), 50 Million Pound Challenge. Dr. Ian Smith is traveling all over the country to get African-Americans young and old to lose weight. The event had some big names to help support the cause which includes Steve Harvey, Yolanda Adams, 112, Brian McKnight, Tatum Bell & Biz Markie. They all performed in front of a record crowd in Detroit. The day started out with rain but that did not spoil many Detroiters fun and excitement. The event was sponsored by your good neighbor (State Farm).

Rasheeda & Robert Wedding

I had a chance to shoot a beautiful wedding at the grand Metropolitan Hotel on a gorgeous day in June. The Metropolitan Hotel is located at Metro Airport in Romulus, MI. The Bride & Groom grew up in Michigan and now relocated in Atlanta, GA. However, they came back to have their wedding in Michigan because all their family are located in the area. I had a great time and my pleasure capturing their moment on this special day with both Rasheeda and Robert.

Rasheeda's dress was absolutely breathtaking and Robert's razor-sharp white tuxedo stood out from his groomsmen. This lovely young couple looks extremely happy! Check out the ablum click here!
